I recently shot the production stills for a great little comedy pilot TV show in London. Written and performed by Alexis Strum and directed by Dermot Canterbury (BBC's 'Little Howard's Big Question') also starred Steve Furst (of Little Britain) actress Leona O'Sullivan and Radio One DJ Adam Catterall.

"In a nutshell it tells the tale of an impossibly vile waitress, Denise who meets her match and gets her comeuppance in the most unlikeliest of ways..."

Save Seven - Fiona's Story

Seven women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer every day in New Zealand. 'Save Seven' is this years ad campaign by Colenso BBDO, NZ and The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. I had the pleasure of taking the stills photography for one of the seven short films which tells Fiona's story: A kiwi woman who has battled with breast cancer while travelling in Scotland. Please watch this and share with the women you know!

This was my first wedding at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and what a great place to have a wedding. Better still the weather held out for us for the whole day - well until the reception at least, but by then it didn't matter. Susan and Jason's ceremony was held in the Caledonian Hall and we had just enough time to sneak away to a quiet part of the botanics for a photo shoot.

Erin, a Canadian, married her Scotsman Johnpaul at Glencorse on the 5th of August. A lovely location and a great atmosphere made it a fantastic day. Of course I instantly fell in love with her gorgeous purple shoes!!

Leuchie House re opens

Leuchie House is a respite care centre housed in a beautiful listed 18th century mansion in East Lothian.

In 2010 after a review of their services, the MS Society decided to stop being a direct provider and as a result the 'save Leuchie' campaign was born. Although due to close its doors in December 2010, last week saw the relaunch of Leuchie House as an independently run charity. Here are a few of my photos from the launch.

Here are some shots I did for the press launch of the Lammermuir Festival last week. The festival of "Beautiful Music in Beautiful Places" is in its 2nd year. The launch at Winton House featured musicians Emily Hoile (clarsach player) and Alice Burn (Northumbrian smallpipes) who will be performing together at this years festival.

I was recently commissioned by Places for People, who amongst other things, provide supported living for adults with disabilities. In April the company collaborated with director Jenna Watt to produce a piece of contemporary theatre written by the actors themselves.

Alan and Laura's shared passion for good food and the art of cooking created the unique theme of their wedding day. Based on herbs, her bouquet of basil, rosemary, mint and roses, along with the beautiful cake, made by both the bride and groom, set the scene for a gorgeous wedding at the The Playfair Library Hall in Edinburgh. Little Megan

Well, it has been busy these last few weeks and my blog has been a little neglected. Until I can get some images together of the jobs I have been doing I thought I would put up a few pics of a shoot I did last year with little Megan.

When I asked her mum how she would discribe this little cherub she told me (jokingly) "she has the temper of a lion, patience of a gnat and sleeping habits of a vampire!!"

I've just got back from a flying visit to my brother who lives in Brittany. The region (aptly) known as Finistère "end of the earth" is on the north-west point of France.
With it's picturesque villages and great French food it lived up to my expectations.

Molly and Eddie

Meet 4yr old Molly and her brother Eddie (2yrs). Full of energy and adventure Molly loves to read books, draw pictures, swim, dance and practice writing her name. Eddie is never far away from a little bit of mischief. Like a lot of little boys, he likes screwdrivers, hammers and diggers and thanks to his big sister, high heel shoes and hand bags. He’s brilliant at playing hide and seek and he loves playing I Spy but hasn’t quite mastered it yet… he says, I Spy with my little eye…… something beginning with…….computer.

Both Molly and Eddie love having discos in the living room, the louder the better!

Last week I photographed little Alexandra's christening at the beautiful wedding location Glencorse House. Perfect for weddings as there is a fantastic little kirk right on the property. This makes it an all inclusive, very romantic, venue.

Amnesty's 'Stand Up For Freedom' at the Edinburgh Festival 2010

Last year I was involved in Amnesty International's, 'Stand Up For Freedom' night at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Back for it's 13th year this night of comedy was to raise awareness of Burma's political prisoners, with a focus on the jailed comedian Zarganar.

"Even Though I'm Free, I'm Am Not" is a great documentary photography project by London photographer James McKay. I was comissioned to photograph some of the comedians that performed at last years 'Stand up for Freedom' concert in the style of James McKay's campaign and it was great to be a part this project.
